As It Is (Scraps)

 These are scraps I wrote 1.5 years ago for my still-in-the-works novel after a publisher had expressed interest in working with me and helping steer the way for me to have my thoughts binded and sold and consumed alongside your afternoon coffee or after a round of good morning sex.

 I never called the publisher back. Somewhere along the line, I stopped writing and I stopped being inspired to. I felt I would never have the audience that I so crave and if I didn’t have that, then there wasn’t any point in trying in the first place. It’s the sort of thing that makes you brutally aware of why you’re not in medical school or in the engineering faculty. And plus, words don’t flow like they used to and the more I retreat back into my corner knowing how I would never be Carrie Bradshaw (minus the not working out part and the clulessness about money), the more I become aware of why I started writing in the first place.

 So hence, my own little space to share facts and questions and scraps and everything in between. So please enjoy and you know, there’s always more where it all came from so always feel free to ask…
